My wife and I are going to Buffalo too.

New live in studio performance is up! So much looser and better than the first one.

Also, an opening act has been announced for the Hudson NY show: Will Sheff. Yup.

Here are some photos (professional) from the Chicago show at Lincoln Hall from a "Day in the Life of Shearwater", an article I saw over at PASTE.

I of course know Jonathon and Danny, but not the names of the other members.

On guitar and keys and vocals, Mitch Billeaud of The Lemurs (which also include Danny Reisch)
On bass and vocals, Christiaan Mader of Brass Bed (warning: plays sound).
On Jonny Greenwood/Brian Eno stuff and guitar and vocals, Lucas Oswald of Minus Story, Hospital Ships, etc..

If I understand a tweet aright, they covered "These Days" by R.E.M. last night. I'd like to hear that!

They're playing at Les Ardentes festival in Liege, Belgium on the 5th of July http://www.lesardentes.be/2012/en/ and I saw a date in Amsterdam on the 6th of July.
I wonder how long it will be till the rest of the dates from this leg of the tour are announced, so I can hopefully start getting excited.

Bonjour!

I try in english.. (sorry..)

Hello!
Great Show in Paris. I know Shearwater for a few years now, since Rook, but it was the first time i saw the band in live. I'm not disappointed! It's more rock than the albums but i like it! It's not aggressive, i feel it's a possitive energy! I hope I will see the band again in a french festival this summer...
Thanks to Julie Doiron for her contagious cheerfulness!
Guillaume

PS: For Jonathan Meiburg, he should listen the album "L'Horizon" from Dominique A, I see a connection with Shearwater, but that's my feeling..
