 TGA question for JM

I just re-watched the video that was posted a while back where JM talks about the islands and whatnot and I got to thinking.

It feels like JM has finally made the album that he's always wanted to make. I don't want to put words in his mouth, so I was hoping he'd have time to share his feelings about it.

The way he spoke about his experience and what TGA expresses says to me that he feels its the epitome of his island-themed albums. And if that's so, does that mean this will be the last? What else could replace these dreamy and foreign lands as SW's muse? It feels as though Shearwater has made this their home, and I can't imagine them anywhere else...

Hmm.

I wish I had a long-winded answer for this one, but all I can say is that I'm pretty confident that a new SW album would be quite different from the last three. It's an interesting challenge but I feel up to it.

I have a title in mind, which is where these things usually begin...

Hm, thanks! I'm sure the band's more than up to it.

That's really interesting. Can't wait to hear it!
