Hi,
Just sort of putting this out there: I got my copy of the vinyl TGA that I preordered yesterday with the perfect bound TGD........and pretty much immediately spilled beer all over the dossier. Granted, it's not the dossier which was specially made and all that, but I was sort of wondering if there's a way for me to procure another one of those (perfect bound edition) without buying another duplicate record or haggling people on ebay. Perfectly willing to shell out some dough for it.

Oh, no! What a heartbreak. I remember getting a Beatles lithograph for my twelfth birthday, the only thing I really wanted, and ripping it in two when I unrolled it from the brown paper wrapping.

I'm getting the full Dossier soon enough, so I think I could part with my abbreviated copy. PM with your address and we can arrange something in exchange for shipping.

EDIT: Whoa. After review, I meant, "something in exchange" like a mix tape or a book. Whoa.

A thank you to JackAltman (incidentally, my family knows a Jack Altman in Co. who we've been friends with for years) for the kind offer. I respectfully decline though, as Matador saw fit to send me another copy after all.

I received a manilla bubble wrap envelope from them immediately recognizable as a replacement dossier. Being the humorous folks they are, a message was written on the back side in felt marker:

"KEEP AWAY FROM BEER!!"

Thank you Matador...and touche.
