Might have to make a trip to Toronto, barring a Detroit or Cleveland date...

Yes! Minneapolis date. Five hours is a reasonable drive. I'll guess I'll be calling in sick for a couple of days, and hoping that my superintendent isn't a board member...

Excellent!

Reading this made me throw my hands up in the air and yell "SWEET!"

(which is so unlike me...)

Oh please, please make a trip to Cleveland, Columbus, Athens, or anywhere in Ohio for that matter.

Definitely going to be at the Bowery Ballroom show. Shame there's no Bard date this time.

Also, Hospital Ships should be opening, which is a good show. I saw them open for Shearwater (at Bard, though I don't go to Bard), and it was Jordan's birthday, and I got to play the tambourine! :D

Hey Rob, glad you liked the show at Bard. I actually booked that show and got to hang out with the band, wonderful people all of them, before and after. I gotta say the show was rather brilliant and in a great, intimate space. I wish we could have gotten them to come back! Sadly I was off campus this past semester and therefore not working for the radio station, which put up the money for the show, so I had no way of getting the band to come back. Oh well, NYC is close enough, even if it will be in a much larger (comparatively) venue.
I just hope I can make it! It falls over Spring Break and I might be in Atlanta...

EDIT: Woah! Just realized they're playing a show in Atlanta when I'll be there. Awesome!

Finally! I waited all last year for a chance to see Shearwater live and never got the chance. I just bought tickets for the shows in DC, NYC, and San Francisco!

It really was a highlight of 2008, for me. Put on more good shows like that! A lot of the shows that come to bard aren't all that great (Too many flash-in-the-pan bands, if you ask me), but that one sounded good, and of course had 2 great bands!

Looks like a Cleveland gig was added on April 3rd at the Beachland. I'll be there!

I hoped for a Pittsburgh show, but Cleveland is good too. It's a shorter drive than going to Philly (I did that for the Palo Santo tour). It will be great to see them again.
