Must be cool to be touring all of those beautiful cites. Hope they enjoy it!
And of course, all of you luckies across the pond enjoy Shearwater in your backyard for once!

Saint-Malo? Why Saint-Malo, of all places? Why not Rennes, where there would probably be a bigger audience due to the fact that it's a university town? Anyway, Saint-Malo is a beautiful place, but I don't suppose that you will get much time to visit the place and go to the Mont Saint Michel and other nice more or less touristic spots in the area while you're there. I can't remember if it's Dinan or Dinard which is a beautiful little town near Saint-Malo. I've spent a lot of time in Granville which is not far from there, but unfortunately I live in Sweden now so the Saint-Malo concert is not possible for me.

I'd love to do the Geneva gig, I could combine that with a trip to another of my old home towns, Lausanne. But right now the most probable venue for me is Berlin - which would be lovely, as I have never been to Berlin. And I would get the possibility to meet up with sea, which would be nice. Or perhaps Paris.

I do however hope you will come to Sweden again! Perhaps Stockholm this time? Please?

I really hope they're coming to Oslo as well! (Or at least somewhere in Scandinavia). The concert was fantastic last time, and the trailer for the new album sounds really great!

I expect we'll come to Scandinavia, but probably later in the year...mid-winter isn't necessarily the best time to go. But we loved playing there...maybe one of those summer festivals?

Come on, midwinter in Scandinavia is great, as long as you don't mind some snow!

A summer festival, like Øya or Norwegian wood would of course also be perfect, but it will be very hard to wait that long to see you again!

I actually agree, midwinter in Scandinavia shouldn't be your top priority.

I have no idea how concert bookings work, but I have some ideas about where you could probably play in Sweden and Denmark. I don't know if it's at all helpful, but it's perhaps worth a try to get in touch with them.

I was just telling my girlfriend how lucky I feel that I got to see Shearwater at the Brudenell Social Club this year(I live just around the corner) after having to travel to Manchester last year. So I thought I would check out this site for any new info. And you're coming back! Wow!

The Manchester gig was great though. Will you ever do The Rainbow live again? Spirit of Eden is my favourite album of all time.

I was a little bemused by the choice of St. Malo too -- but on the other hand, it is handy for the ferry to Portsmouth. Salute the HMS Victory as you pass her by!

Diksmuide is the really odd one here. Tiny place. However, were it not for a football match on the saturday, I could be very tempted to combine Belgian beer and Shearwater in a tunnel trip. Brighton and London will just have to do!

Manchester show just added on the 24th Feb, at The Ruby Lounge.

Also, David Thomas Broughton (www.davidthomasbroughton.co.uk) will be opening for us on all EU/UK dates. He is spectacular, and almost unclassifiable. I think of him as somewhere between Richard Thompson and Buster Keaton.

I can't even get over how much I love this sentence, the image (this image was surely crafted with me in mind)! I can just imagine how much I'll love David Thomas Broughton!

:D

If you've not seen David Thomas Broughton before you're in for a treat. His "Complete Guide to Insufficiency" is a must have album. I am even more looking forward to the Brudenell gig now than I was before.

I second what marco23 says, as getting to see Shearwater and David Thomas Broughton in one night is one massive treat, and one not to be missed.

Here is a recent video link
