Ooooh yes, Felicity!

I personally would love to have a Shearwater field journal, as it were. A reproduction of a tour diary complete with pull-out items and random finds. Perhaps something along the lines of The Pocket Book of Boosh...

I like these non-traditional suggestions! Playing cards would be great - I can just see myself playing pinochle with my family with my Palo Santo card deck in my Rookman pajamas :)

I would really love to buy some t-shirts, seeing as I live in Australia and can't get to a concert and the associated merchandise table. I want to wear Shearwater across my chest!

Kerrie. I'm working on that for you right now, as a matter of fact. Well actually, I'm avoiding getting ready for my appointment, but after my appointment I'm off to see if the mysterious box of "Shearwater Stuff" that Aaron is giving me contains a T-shirt for you.

And now I've ruined the surprise (unless of course, there are no shirts and I send you something else entirely*! Muahaha!).

Edited to add:
*You can staple a poster to your chest, right? That'd work.

No, not at all. Zurick's been in some of the best bands of the last 2 decades or so (Cap'n Jazz, Joan of Arc, Make Believe, etc), in addition to being a great guitarist and musician in general.

I haven't talked to him in yonks, but in addition to being the most interesting and intriguing guitarist I personally know (and a former man of the year ), he's just a truly nice guy with an amazing capacity for making me laugh. And his song titles? Priceless!

But back to Shearwater, I was just watching the promo video for TGA again, and it occurred to me that reproductions of some of the items and photos used in that would make a good "field journal" merch item... and as I type that, I realize this is likely what Jonathan is intending to include in the "special edition" artwork... so, um... carry on.

So, did they repress this? I'm kind of out of the loop on this album, because, though Shearwater are one of my favorite bands now, I didn't find out about them until Rook. But, I just ordered a copy of this from the store on shearwatermusic.com. So, if anyone wants one, they are in the store.

Perhaps those are just the last copies.

No. It's identical, cover and all.

Actually, the covers are recognizably but subtly different, so the original pressings will still be identifiable.

If I ordered one a little while ago, has it already been shipped out?
