Hum, when I've talked to Jonathan and told him I'm having a bootleg with the new songs ("New Moon", which seems to have a new title, and "Black Eyes") on repeat, he wasn't upset or mentioned anything about evil tapers. I think as long as you don't sell the boot and share it for free just among fans, it's okay.Otherwise, you could just ask him, for example via private message here on the board.

Would be great if you could tape it, there are so few recorded shows and I'm still waiting to have that "Cymbaline" cover to listen to over again... got it stuck in my head for months now...

I hate to be a pain but it appears that a bunch of the links to shows that are posted earlier in this thread are dead. Is there any chance someone could renew these links on this thread? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

There is a good short review of the gig at:
http://thevinylvillain.blogspot.com/

For info and music, check out :
www.shearwatermusic.com
www.myspace.com/shearwater

Something magical happened, in this tiny, cramped, packed cellar;
Shearwater's glorious soundscapes took us all to another world.
Jonathan Meiburg's fanastic soaring vocals and the band's total involvement
provided a rare treat; I would love to see them play a bigger venue (with room
to breathe maybe ?)
Special mention to the beautiful double glockenspiel playing from Thor and

Kimberly.
Sound notes : Jonathan's vocals were a bit low in the mix early on, then this was

fixed and there's a vocal overload later on in the set (he does the quiet/loud

thing very well) Not much audience noise/chat.

Aud->SP CMC-8s + h-c caps->SPSB-6S(r/o:0)->
Edirol R09(16bit 44.1Khz, gain +14)
USB transfer to pc->Nero Wave Editor(volume balancing, volume boosting)
->CDWave(split)->Flac sector 8, sector boundaries aligned.

No selling in any form.

Everything I have ever downloaded or uploaded is now stored here. Maybe edit this into the first post? Also, if anyone has stuff that I don't and would like me to stick it up for others to enjoy, feel free to pass it along my way.

I recall reading in a post that Shearwater has covered Cymbaline live. Any chance someone could post a link to their version?

As far as I know there's no recording of Cymbaline available.

I do have some new (and old) stuff to offer, though! All audio ripped from the videos posted here - I'm visible in most of the ones from the 2010 show! The audio quality isn't the best, especially at higher volumes, and the transitions from song to song are awkward because not all of the crowd noise was left in the Youtube videos, but it's neat for me to have recordings of my two shows. I hope that other people who attended those gigs will feel the same! Thanks to the guy who recorded and uploaded them, as well as every other indie show that comes to Cleveland apparently.
