I know I'm a terrible beggar when it comes to asking for chords from y'all, and I wouldn't except that I suck at figuring them out.

Anyone?? Bueller??

As a matter of a fact, I wonder if we'll have a definitive chord collection from OR *and* SW at some point? That would be the butter shite.

Try these:

Code:
G D C Am C
Claire lives up on Saint Mary's walk, with her mother.
And I live down on Philomel, by the harbor,

     D G C
and I hate the ocean.
and I hate the ocean.
and I hate the ocean.

Well, Claire says she'd throw me overboard, then that she loves me,
and then she kisses me on mouth, and says I'm ugly,

and I hear the ocean
and I hear the ocean
and I hear the ocean
     D G C Am
and I hear the ocean roar.

G D C Am C
G D C Am C
D
G C D
G C C

The water pulls around the pier, dark and rusted,
and I know the kindest face with a sailor's eyes still can't be trusted.

But I feel the ocean
But I feel the ocean
But I feel the ocean swell.

@Anjy: I'm working on it.

I did it.
I made the first, one and only,
(unofficial) okkervil river & shearwater songbook containing all tabs and chords I were able to find or make by myself.

So long.
Siro

Hi.

Update: I added the songs An Accident, The World in 1984 and Whole Wide World to the songbook.

So long

Damn, I'd missed this thread! A whole songbook - cool! (Cool, and bookmarked.)

There's a version of Blanket and Crib here. I'll attempt to do Never Come Again (off Sham Wedding/Hoax Funeral) when I've got half an hour to spare, along with a load more SW stuff, and somewhere I've got half of Song About A Star. I'll make sure Siro gets what I've done so far if I ever find it again.

Siro...have you figured out the chords to this part yet (to St. Mary's Walk)?
